    I try to avoid all trans fat and food dyes in the food I eat and feed my family.

    Where were these when I was pregnant and couldn’t take the vitamins? A few cookies would have been a great way to add some extra nutrition especially follate which is so needed during pregnancy!

    Did you know that small amounts of naturally occurring trans fat are in beef and dairy products? I never knew until I saw trans fat listed on the back of a package of beef hamburgers and I called the company, sure that it was a mistake-but it’s actually true!

    Even though saltine crackers are not sweet tasting if you leave them in your mouth for a few minutes with out chewing and let the amalyse in your saliva break down the carbohydrates it will give you a sweet taste.
