The best thing about summer shows is quality time with friends & family.

I enjoy going to the ballet and enjoying a nice show with the ladies. We make it an annual tradition. Even if we don’t see each other throughout the year, we make sure to reunite at the ballet every year.

Going to Jazz fest or the Ballet is a favorite part of summer foe me. I love the diversity and culture right here in a beautiful town! Having the opportunity to share this with my family is a treasure for sure.

I would love to see the ballet because I danced for 18 years when I was younger and miss it dearly. I would love to show my husband the art of ballet and what was part of my life for so long.

Exploring Saratoga Springs for the first time would be a big bonus too!!!

I remember going to a contemporary ballet at SPAC as a young girl and being so inspired and in awe. I will never forget that day!

Sometimes with everyone’s crazy schedules, it’s all about the date night to provide sanity. And Jazz Fest offers that along with fresh air, great music and fabulous company. I’ve never seen a ballet at SPAC but was eyeing up the Gatsby night when I saw it on the event calendar. My husband and I love the music from the 20s to the 40s.

I love the ballet Stars and Stripes and have to say its one I consider a favorite. The score along with the gorgeous costumes and terrific choreography is utterly beautiful! Its a great tribute to America by George Balanchine and certainly makes me proud watching it !! 🙂

My favorite is the Nut Cracker and I took my 3 year old granddaughter this past year and watched her lips say “Wow” in silence. It brought tears to my eyes to see something so beautiful through such innocent eyes. After the show she Thanked me and told me I was the best Nana ever for taking her and that someday she was going to dance just like that. I would love to be able to introduce her to additional ballet shows. (Along with my husband, as he has never been)

As a couponer and coupon blogger I have to say that my favorite part about the Jazz Fest and the NYC Ballet at Spac is that they are a phenomenal deal for families plus with the added bonus of being able to bring your own meal(courtesy of Price Chopper of course, don’t forget to bring those coupons for doubling oh and how about stopping by the local Sunoco to fill up the tank on the way to Spac for 50 cents off a gallon after you use your advantage card). What a great way to get the entire family in on the fun without breaking the bank.

As an avid couponer in these hard economic times, I was VERY disappointed in a letter that I recieved in the mail from Price Chopper today. I stated that they will no longer be doubling manufacturers coupons that have a face value of 1.00. Do they not realize that manufacturers coupons are usually 1.00? Do they not realize that families are having a hard time feeding their families? I for one am pissed and will be taking my weekly shopping to another store.

Belynda, Thank you for your feedback. We’re forwarding your comments as a formal complaint to our Consumer Response department.
