    My boys LOVE cream cheese & roasted peppers. We roast our own fresh red peppers with olive oil, oregano, lemon, and garlic then, when they’re cool we spread a little (okay, a LOT) of cream cheese on pita bread or a bagel and top it with the peppers. Yummmmmm!

    When I was a little girl my grandmother introduced me to grilled cheese and grape jelly. Just a thin layer spread on top of a grilled cheese sandwich gives a flare to an oldie. My kids enjoy them and now my grandkids do!

    Peanut butter stuffed jalepenos with a touch of jelly on top!!! Sounds strange but the spicy from the pepper and the oil in the pb goes so good together… Then a touch of sweetness from the jelly!!!

    In our family, we have a really unique sandwich we’ve been making since my brother and I were children. Somehow, we convinced our grandmother this was a-ok by my parents, and grandma has made it for us ever since!
    It’s a grilled sandwich, with cheese, peanut butter, and chocolate. YUM! Most people don’t think this goes together, but you have to try it!

    I love bread and butter pickles with – Bread and Butter! My grandfather used to make Bread and Butter pickle sandwiches and explained to us that during the depression that was lunch and that was why they are named Bread and Butter pickles! Plain white bread, butter and plenty of pickles Yum!

    We love Olive Oil and Garlic…they are the base of so many of our dinners. We usually start with EVOO and Garlilc, then toss in different Veggies and then a meat. Throw it over whole wheat pasta and it’s a quick, healthy dinner any day of the week. Our fave is our staples, EVOO & Garlic, with Chicken Sausage, Roasted Reds, Brocolli and crushed red pepper…YUMMY!!!!

    Homemade mac&cheese made with Knorrs chicken stock and a can of puree pumpkin. We eat that along with homemade garlic toast. The topping for the toast is hellmanns mayo, a little melted butter, lemon juice, parma cheese and garlic, mixed together and then put under the broiler for a couple minutes. Everyone loves it!
