Light and Fit Summer Treats

lf-zeroregular-lemon-creamI am always on the lookout for new products that are good nutrition options and solutions for shoppers that are trying to eat better. I am also a big advocate for dairy products, (the June blogs and articles clearly show my love for Dairy Month!), and it was fun to find some new yogurt options – the Dannon Light and Fit line with zero artificial sweeteners. Many of our customers are reading labels more closely and looking for simpler, more natural ingredients, and these items fit the bill. Sweetened with stevia and cane sugar, they are definitely worth exploring.

In stores now, you will find regular yogurt in flavors like strawberry, vanilla and a dreamy lemon cream, and their Greek yogurt line, including mixed berry, coconut cream, and mango peach. With just 90 calories, 13 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, these Greek yogurts will power you up for summer fun!

breakfast with yogurtKeep it delicious and nutritious with fun serving ideas – slice fresh strawberries or toss fresh blueberries and some chopped pecans or walnuts into the lemon cream yogurt for a delicious breakfast parfait. As temperatures rise, and grilling season gets in gear, throw some fresh, juicy pineapple on the grill and slice it into the coconut cream Greek yogurt – you will wow your barbecue guests. Need a cool down? Make frozen yogurt pops with the Greek mango peach – dust them with cayenne pepper before serving for a spicy sweet surprise indulgence adults and kids will enjoy!

We make it easy to try – save with AdvantEdge e-coupons (while they last) and have a cool yogurt adventure – delicious! Click here!
